We are dedicated to listening to, understanding and communicating with our customers and vendors to ensure a high degree of meeting or exceeding the needs of our customers. This begins at our first meetings and continues as long as you own your home. This is our definition of good customer service … just ask any of our existing customers.
The D.H. Custom Homes Customer Service Program
We’ll provide you with materials explaining our Customer Service Program and each of our service checkpoints to ensure you receive unmatchable customer care and that your new custom home is everything you wanted it to be. The program includes the following checkpoints as well as other unscheduled service requests:
- Warranty – Valid on all workmanship and materials for one year after closing; and on plumbing, heating and cooling systems, electrical systems, and major structural elements for two years after closing.
- New Home Orientation – Walk-through with production team member who will demonstrate operation of your home, review general maintenance procedures and confirm your new home is complete.
- 45-Day Scheduled Service Checkpoint – Overview of any warrantable adjustments necessary during the first 45 days of occupancy. Following a reminder postcard, our service team will meet with you to inspect, repair or schedule service for those items requiring adjustment, as necessary.
- Year-End Service Check Points – Inspection of all necessary home adjustments approximately one month prior to annual warranty expiring. We also include unscheduled service requests if you notice anything requires adjustments.
