As the children of a home builder, my siblings and I spent many a vacation touring homes from every era possible. I think it’s in this spirit that we’ve developed such an appreciation for the historical development of the American home. Personally, I love anything from the 1920s through the 1970s!  And it’s a huge influence on my taste in Christmas décor – kitschy, indeed.
